An amazing herb has been found to kill about 98% of the cancer cells. And it takes only 16 hours to do so. It may be called a wonder herb as scientists are always looking for ways to cure the deadly disease of cancer.

The herb is called ‘Sweet wormwood’ or ‘Artemisia Annua.’ It contains a compound called arteminisinin which can kill breast cancer cells. About 98% of the cells can be killed within 16 hours.

The herb when combined with iron has a better effect. It has been scientifically proven that the cancer cells are killed when iron is added to the herb and used against breast cancer. The cancer can be cured completely when both are used together. Otherwise, the herb alone can cause only a 28% reduction in breast cancer cells.

The way iron improves the destruction of cancer cells is that iron can specifically precipitate in cancer cells. It targets specific receptors that help in cell division. Since cancer cells have these receptors in huge quantities, it affects them more. Normal cells have these receptors in fewer quantities. Thus, a combination of iron and artemisinin is better to kill cancer cells and it can even eliminate cancer in that patient. Apoptosis is the process by which cancer cells are killed. It means self destruction.

The extract of iron and artemisinin is difficult to obtain currently since it is produced in very less quantity. Only about 50-60 tons a year are produced. But due to increased awareness, its production may be increased. This will also help reduce the cost.
